@ https://bit.ly/2IhBzwp

Political News - Mamata Banerjee Warns BJP against Playing Hindutva Card in Bengal

On Wednesday, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee was found to accuse the BJP of ruining the peaceful environment in the state with the use of their Hindutva Card. She cautioned the saffron party against playing any form of communal politics. She even said that irrespective of their tactics, they will not get any dividend in her state. She expressed her concern saying that BJP is trying to bring its ultra-Hindutvad from outside. The main aim of this policy is to create some riots and communal tension in the state.

She stated clearly that she is totally against communal politics and do not want any form of riots. On the contrary, they want to stay in a peaceful environment within the state. This was claimed by Banerjee at an election rally in Burdwan district near Purbasthali. Those who are trying to divide Bengal on the basis of communal lines with Hindutva Card will get a fitting reply from the general people. BJP will not be successful in achieving its mission in this state. In her election rally, she claimed many other things against the BJP.

In an exclusive Political News in Hindi statement, she said that Central is jealous of the peace that West Bengal holds. Hence, the reason to conduct Assembly Elections in different phases in the state. The Congress, CPIM and BJP never want any peace in Bengal. Banerjee urged her audiences to defeat everyone and cast their votes in favor of Trinamool Congress so that the state can be taken forward in the coming days.

She even attempted to slam the alliance of CPIM and Congress in Bengal, and claimed that both these parties are actually suffering from insecurity. They are therefore fighting for their own survival by relying on each other. Congress is suffering from identity crisis, Mamata expressed clearly in her statement. Therefore, the party is trying to ride on the back of CPIM. However, Mamata clearly said that nothing would help these parties to improve their position in the state. At the same time, even Bengal won’t experience any sunrise from the ongoing elections. The party experienced their sunset right after the incident at Nandigram.

According to Hindi News Online, she stated due to misrule of the Marxists since the 35 years, the condition of West Bengal is in a horrible state. They have completely finished the state. It is because of this reason that the current government has to pay huge debts obtained from the legacy of the Left. She even added that her government was carrying out all the development works irrespective of fund constraints and non-cooperation from the centre.

Addressing another poll meeting before, Banerjee was highly confident over winning the Assembly Elections and said CPIM will never return to power. The results will be announced on May 19, where the TMC government will step into its sixth year. BJP will have to leave Bengal and Congress will become signboard parties. The opponents are trying to destroy the peace situation of Bengal, and she and her party will emerge as the winner in the elections.

EC Orders Removal Of Banners Prior To Assembly Elections In Bengal

The Election Commission ordered an immediate removal of various banners and hoardings in the entire state of West Bengal that depicted the achievements of the government of Mamata Banerjee. The commission even asked the officials to make sure that all the orders are complied with without any discrepancies. This decision was taken in Kolkata once it met the different representatives of the political parties of Bengal. According to Hindi News Online, the Chief Election Commissioner and other fellow election commissioners will be present in the state on 15th March. The main idea behind the stay is to review the entire preparation process for the upcoming assembly elections going to take place in six different phases.

The assembly elections in the state will begin from 4th April. Hence, the preparations have already started. According to some sources, it was clearly pointed out to the poll panel that several government buildings still displayed several banners and hoardings indicating the achievements of the government of Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress. Efforts should be made to remove them at the earliest, and this should be a part of the overall election preparation.

Right since the announcement of the poll date on March 4, the code of conduct for the model was announced. However, irrespective of that, some government officials were quite reluctant to get into action. It was because of this reason that the Commission felt the need to visit the state and place orders directly. It is said that the banners and hoardings tend to violate the model code provisions. As a result, there is a need to remove them. Therefore, the officials should take the necessary steps at the earliest to remove them.

According to Live Hindi News Nasim Zaidi, The Chief Election Commissioner assured that all the political parties will take part in a free and fair poll in the upcoming Assembly elections. The opposition parties also tried to claim that the poll panel is carrying out a sting operation and this involves some leaders of the Trinamool Congress, as well.

Rabin Deb, the CPIM leader claimed that the party had requested the poll panel for taking action against different TMC leaders, who were alleged in the sting operation. Robin even said that CMC has assured to look into the matter. The party has demanded some official reinstatement so that they should be removed from the ruling party.

On the other hand, Congress leader raised a similar demand while conducting a meeting with the poll panel. Zaidi, the opposition leader assured that they should go through the complaints as well as look into the suggestions brought in demand for a fair poll. Some of the representatives of the ruling party also met the panel with a huge list of their suggestions. The CEC has assured all the parties to look into their suggestions.

Mukul Roy, a senior leader of the TMC has lodged a complaint against the declaration of the poll panel. He claimed that instead of a six phase election, it should be a seven phase election virtually. This is because the first phase of the poll will be conducted in different dates.

Government Had To Face Tough Questions On India Pakistan Ties

The Indian government had to face some serious questions on the relations between Indian Pakistan in the backdrop of Pathankot terror attacks. These questions were asked while a briefing by some members of the parliament. The question and answers between the two parties were quite frank. A member of the parliament also said that the meeting was good, but did not specify any details about the discussion that took place in the scenario. The Foreign Secretary said that the members of the Parliament Standing Committee on External Affairs gave some briefs on the relation between India and Pakistan in this context under the current political scenario.

On December 29, a former meeting was held of the panel, where the Foreign Secretary was grilled by the members of the committee. They wanted to know the reason for which India could not anticipate the crisis in Nepal. This has certainly taken a huge toll on the ties between the two countries. The committee viewed that the details of such meetings were indeed sensitive, due to which they could not go outside the panel. Otherwise, it might create some impact on the long term strategies. This was expressed by a member following the condition of anonymity.

In a similar way, the meeting of the panel on the status of Indo-Pak relationship deferred the talks into a level of the foreign secretary into a status of near future. According to sources, the member had asked several questions to the foreign secretary on the impact on the attack on Pathankot. They even enquired about the response of Pakistan on the attack. In addition to that, as per Hindi News Online it was also found that the members of the opposition asked some tough questions regarding the handling of relationship from government with Pakistan.

Political News in Hindi states the issue is undoubtedly sensitive, and in view of this issue the members were strictly asked to maintain a level of confidentiality regarding the discussion. This was claimed by one of the members after the discussion was over. The meeting took place for a long time and after the completion of the meeting, the panel carried out an interaction meeting with Congressional Delegation from the USA. The panel meeting was headed by Shashi Tharoor, a member of the congress. Currently, the committee comprises of 29 members. 21 members come from Lok Sabha, while 8 members come from the Rajya Sabha. There are two vacancies from each house.

Now the question arises is that after the atrocious attack, will the politics drive the ties of India and Pakistan back again within just a week of Modi’s visit to Pakistan, the terrible incident occurred. The hug between Modi and Nawaj Sharif was replaced by the frustration because the relation between India and Pakistan had come to full circle once again. On the advent of the new year, there were some hopes of some reconciliation and dialogue, but there is no a great deal of uncertainty. In the past 18 months, Modi had tried several methods to deal with Pakistan, but India is back to the starting line once again.

Congress worried about Modi appreciated in State Assembly

Congress versus Narendra Modi is taking a bizarre turn every time the PM is praised anywhere in the world. Leaving no stone unturned to blame PM Modi for the growing intolerance in the country, Congress is hell bent on slowing down the juggernaut that he seems to be riding on. The Hindi News Online took notice of how opposition is uncomfortable with Modi’s growing popularity, especially when the Bihar Election results are yet to be announced.

Recently, Modi was congratulated in the Madhya Pradesh Legilstaive Assembly for his dramatic entry into the Forbes list of World’s most powerful persons in the world. When the whole assembly, dominated by BJP leaders, congratulated the PM for his achievement, the Congress raised question on the need to praise him.

Why Modi was congratulated in MP Assembly-

Narendra Modi is the PM of the country and belongs to the same party that rules in Madhya Pradesh. As per the recently announced list by Forbes, he ranked 9th in the list of Most powerful Political leaders in the World. He ranked 15th last year in the same list.

The political news in Hindi was buzzing with this latest development of Modi’s comparison with global leaders in 2015. MP Kailash Vijayvarigya announced in the Assembly that “Modi is the crowning glory in the country of 1.25 billion people.” It is an achievement for every Indian and Modi is the leader of the country. When Congress raised questioned the need to congratulate him in the Assembly, the House Speaker said that it is the tradition of the House. The Speaker said, “There is no violation of any rule. We only congratulated the PM of the country!” What could be bizarre than this where Opposition fails to acknowledge the authentic list released by a prominent business-political journal.

Why congress is quoting it as squalid propaganda-

Congress is evidently disappointed with the international development and the kind of attention showered on Modi. The last PM from Congress, Manmouah Singh was hardly an international figure to reckon with. More so, he had a rather sordid tenure in the UPA II, tarnished by corruption charges, sycophancy and poor economic strategy.  Modi has done a good job so far as a PM.

Congress MP Bala Bachan raised eyebrows in the Assembly and asked on what grounds is Modi praised in the house! It is certain that the Congress thinks that the BJP is resorting to cheap publicity ahead of the Bihar poll results to influence voters. Political experts say there is nothing wrong with the appreciation on the floor of a State house.

Brushing shoulder with the Powerful-

He is sharing prominence with leading names in the world. In the 2015 Forbes list, Russian President Vladimir Putin is Number One followed by German Chancellor, Angela Merkel. US President slipped a spot behind to end the year at Number 3. Biggies like Chinese Premier XI Jinping and UK Prime Minister James Cameron also lost significant places in the list. Pope Francis is 4th while Bill Gates is ranked at 6th. It is a remarkable list to share names with. PM Modi is definitely in the right list!
